Bollards
Bollards light the ground where people walk, so paths, driveways and garden edges feel safe without lighting up the whole yard. We stock LED bollards from Havit, Nordlux, Telbix, Vencha and Domus in round and square profiles, short and tall, with 24V and 240V options.
Getting bollards right
- HeightAround 600 mm suits paths and garden beds. Taller 900 mm bollards suit driveways and open areas.
- SpacingFor a path, place them about 2 to 3 m apart, alternating sides for a natural look.
- Voltage24V bollards pair with a driver and are simpler to lay out. 240V suits long runs.
- MountingA concrete footing or a mounting base keeps the bollard solid and level.
Questions we get asked
How far apart should bollard lights be?
Usually 2 to 3 m apart along a path. Light from each bollard should just meet the next one's on the ground.
Are bollard lights bright enough for a driveway?
Yes, when spaced evenly along the edge. Pair them with a sensor floodlight if you also need security light.
Can bollard lights go in lawn?
Yes, on a concrete footing or base. Keep them clear of the mower line.
